Upgrade from Analogue to IP CCTV today
Traditional analogue CCTV systems require a specific cable for every camera you wish to install on your premises. They then require a separate cable for power and camera control. HD CCTV cameras from IC Service And Maintenance Ltd use a single standard network cable which is easily connected onto the camera network. Everything is then controlled through this single network cable, from receiving the image, through to power & pan zoom control, which means less disruption to your workplace due to a lesser time to install them.
When budgets are tight, migrating from analogue to a HD solution is considerably cheaper than upgrading straight to a full HD system. No longer do HD CCTV systems have to be expensive. Your existing analogue systems can be easily migrated on to a new HD CCTV system, using encoder modules that convert the analogue camera signal into the new IP format that HD systems use. This gives you the advantages of upgrading little by little, at a fraction of the price of a full HD solution, whilst benefitting from a feature rich, scalable platform. It is important to remember that the resolution and clarity of the analogue cameras will remain the same as research and development with this technology is coming to an end, whilst HD cameras are continuing to advance in resolution, features and performance.
Upgrading to a HD system gives far greater opportunities to increase the number of days you want to retain your footage. Unlike traditional analogue footage that is usually limited to what you buy at the time, modern IP based systems offer many cost effective and flexible solutions to store footage over much longer periods. An example of this is automatic backup features, where footage is archived to a network attached storage (NAS) device for retrieval at a later date.
IP network CCTV systems can be expanded much more easily than traditional analogue systems enabling you to scale the system at any time to meet your growing needs. Most IP CCTV systems adhere to industry standard open protocols allowing connectivity to a far greater range of equipment than ever before, meaning it has the capabilities and future ability to integrate with other equipment. With the rise of UHD (Ultra High Definition) CCTV this couldn’t be more important.
Smartphone/Tablet integration – IP CCTV systems now give you far greater control on the go, live & recorded views can be accessed on your mobile device via an app from anywhere an internet connection exists, giving you the option to be in the know at all times.
IC Service And Maintenance Ltd offer complete turn-key fire detection and fire suppression projects from the initial design, installation, commissioning, certification to handover to the end user.
ICS has vast experience and competency in the area of design of fire detection and suppression systems. All our fire detection and suppression installations are carried out by our trained fire suppression specialists who are fully conversant with all relevant codes of practice.
Gaseous and water mist fire suppression
Gaseous or clean agent fire suppression systems use chemical agents to extinguish a fire. These fire supression systems deploy quickly and cleanly without leaving water, particulate or oily residue on high value or irreplaceable assets.
Water Mist fire supression systems systems use low volume high pressure water particles and extinguish fire by a combination of cooling and inerting effects. These fire supression systems have been used for many years for the protection of machinery spaces and are becoming increasingly popular for the fire protection of high value assets and for areas such as commercial kitchens, production equipment and spray painting booths, where the short clean up time after a discharge results in a much quicker return to operation compared to other commonly used fire suppression systems.
In Cabinet fire supression systems utilize a special heat sensitive tubing which ruptures when exposed to heat and delivers the fire extinguishant, (either Co2 or Novec 1230) directly to the seat of the fire.
From the most simple single cylinder fire suppression system to protect equipment cabinets to large multicylinder fire suppression systems to protect data rooms, electrical equipment rooms and generator enclosures.
We always carry out integrity tests on the risk area to establish whether additional sealing is required prior to the final design of a fire suppression system and we retest when the installation is complete so that our clients can have absolute confidence in the fire systems we install.
We can provide systems based on the following fire extinguishing agents: • -FM 200 (HFC-227ea) - fire extinguishing agent • -Novec 1230 - fire extinguishing agent • -IG55 Argon Nitrogen - fire extinguishing agent • -IG541 Argon (INERGEN) - fire extinguishing agent • -IG100 Nitrogen - fire extinguishing agent • -IG01 Argon - fire extinguishing agent • -Water Mist - fire extinguishing agent • Carbon Dioxide (Co2) - fire extinguishing agentFire System Commissioning
All of our fire suppression commissioning work is carried out to all relevant standards. Commissioning certificates for fire suppression issued by ICS always reflect the true condition of the system and any variations from IS3218 will be highlighted. We never compromise regarding commissioning certification. We also provide staff training on these and all our fire suppression systems and follow-on routine service as required is provided as standard.
